Meet the Principal
Danielle Battista
Danielle started her performing arts journey from the young age of 5, when she commenced training at a performing arts school in Australia. Danielle remained at the school for 18 years, during which she progressed from student to Teacher’s Assistant, then to Dance Teacher and finally to Head Dance Teacher and Choreographer. During this time, Danielle performed lead roles in many musicals, performed as a lead singer for a band, performed on a weekly television show and also performed in both plays and television commercials. Upon graduating University, Danielle ceased working at the performing arts school and commenced working as a Lawyer. While working in the legal industry both as a Lawyer and later in more of an office management capacity, Danielle continued to be involved in the performing arts sphere by choreographing and performing in musicals. Notably, Danielle recently played the role of Evita in an Australian production of the musical Evita, for which she received a BroadwayWorld nomination for ‘Best Performer in a Musical'. Danielle’s broad experience and love for performing arts, teaching children and business management have naturally led her to take on the role of School Director for Razzamataz Performing Arts Dubai. “I am so honoured to be able to share my love for performing arts with the children of Dubai and to watch their confidence and happiness grow as they develop the skills they need to become the best performers and best people they can be. That is certainly what the performing arts has done for me.”
